My Mom's Beef Stew

My Mom’s Famous Beef Stew
Brock Malcolm

The First bite I had, filled with succulent and just complete goodness. It was the dumplings, filled with juices from everything in the bowl, mixed together to create the best dumpling ever. The Main part of the meal was the beef. It was perfect, the juices held up in the meat, soaking in the juices of the carrots and dumplings. The second bite I had was a mix of the Dumplings and the Beef; it was almost like a Philly Sandwich. The Carrots were the third thing I had, soggy with the soup, still it was delicious.
The side of this meal was also very amazing, it was homemade garlic bread. It was the best I’ve ever had; the garlic was perfect, not too little and not too much. The bread was warm, chewy, and not hard, it was just perfect.
I made a sandwich out of this meal, I cut the bread in half, put the dumplings and the beef in it, the drizzled the soup over the bread, the first bite I took, the first thing I tasted, was the warmth of the dumplings, as plump as they were, the soup leaked out of the dumplings and into the bread, so every bite no matter what was still very delectable. The beef was soggy too now, juices dripping out of my mouth. I ate every last bite of this meal and it was the best meal I have ever had.

The amazing coverup alternative prompt

I knew I was going to be in touble when my parents were going to found out what I did. I was going to be in the biggest trouble I would ever have been in my entire life. I was most likely goig to be grounded for like, ever. My parents would be home in about an hour or so, so I had to get this taken care of quick. The first thing i di was that i needed to get the vacuum out of the office and pull it out into the living room. Anybody in the house could have hear the vacuum sucking the glass out of the capet and while it wass going down the tubes, crunching and grinding its way into the vacuum.

I'm pretty lucky, because even though it is her favorite picture, she doesn't go into details on how it looks, so im pretty sure that I could just slip the painting into a different frame. I just needed to find one and that would be the hard part. The second part that i needed to do was get the parts of the old frame and get them in the garbage. So I picked up the shattered edges of the frame and put them in the garbage bin outside, so my mom would never find out what had happened.

I was releived to see that there was no noticeable damage done the the painting itself, or else i would have stopped there and given up. I started to begin my search for an empty fram the same size as the one before. I looked everywhere, from the garage, to the living room, and finally the attic. I found the frame in the attic, very gently placed it down next to the painting. I kneeled next to both peices of what seemed to be a puzzle. I took a good look at the painting. It was the most ellaborate painting i had ever seen in my entire life, it was a painting of two elephants enveloped in a red and yellow grass that warmed the entire painting. This painting was my mom's most favorite painting that she ever had, and it made me feel terrible that i broke it, so i had to make it right. While i was doing the most dellicate job putting the painting inside the frame, my mom called me.

"Hello" I asked, questioning what she wanted.

"Hey, just wanted to let you know that we are on our way home, we will probobly be home in five minutes, just loading up the groceries", she said.

I hung up the phone, hung the painting up, turned on the TV and sat down on the couch, and just then, my parents walked in throught the door.
